Term Employment Opportunity Community Program Administrator
Locations: Cambridge Bay, Taloyoak, Kugluktuk, and Gjoa Haven
Type of Employment: This is a term position until March 2027, with possibility of extension or transfer.
As a member of the Kitikmeot Inuit Association’s (KIA) Social and Cultural Development team, the Community Program Administrator is responsible for the planning, management and effective delivery of specifically identified projects that are community-based.
Knowledge, skills and abilities are typically acquired through a high school diploma and two years of experience volunteering and coordinating community-based projects. Ability to speak Inuktut is considered an asset. Equivalencies may be considered.
The starting salary for the position ranges from $72,110 – $91,041.00 plus a northern allowance of $26,464.66, a housing allowance of $6,415.67, Vacation Travel Assistance and other employment benefits. Housing is not available.
Priority will be given to Inuit beneficiaries who meet the qualifications for the job as specified under Article 23 of the Nunavut Agreement and reside in the community where position is located.
