The KIA is saddened by the loss of Kane Tologanak

The KIA is saddened by the loss of Kane Tologanak who passed away last night. Kane Tologanak was first elected to the NWT Legislature in 1979 and was an MLA (and Minister) for the Central Arctic region (pre-division). A long-term employee of the GNWT/GN, Kane served as a Director of CGS in the Kitikmeot, contributing to the progress and improvement of all communities of our region – notably in the sports and recreation fields. The KIA, on behalf of all the Kitikmeot offers our condolences to his wife Elik and the entire Tologanak family.
