Thank you Wynter

As of the start of August, Wynter Kuliktana has stepped down from the position of Director of the Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA) Lands, Environment and Resource Department. Wynter held the Director Position since 2023 and has worked for the KIA for a total of 15 years.

Wynter brought care, empathy, and steadiness to her work, the Lands Department, and the KIA as a whole. She played a central role in advancing many important Major Development Projects that are currently in place throughout the Kitikmeot today. Wynter led her team through challenging circumstances with compassion and integrity.

Her calm presence will be greatly missed, both professionally and personally. The KIA Board of Directors and Staff wish Wynter success and happiness in whatever comes next and know that she will be as successful in that pursuit as she was during her career at the KIA. Thank you Wynter for all you did for the KIA, the North, and the Kitikmeot.
