KIA is Saddened by the Passing of Former President Allen Maghagak

The Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA) is saddened by the news of the passing of Allen Maghagak. Allen’s commitment to the Kitikmeot, Nunavut and Inuit culture and prosperity were seen in his serving as a President of the KIA, Chief Negotiator for the Tunngavik Federation of Nunavut and his invaluable work while employed at NTI. Current KIA President James Eetoolook, who worked closely with Allen at NTI, would like extend condolences to Allen’s family, both personally as well as on behalf of the KIA.
