Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreement Manager

The Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA) has an exciting and challenging employment opportunity available in Kugluktuk, Nunavut for an Inuit Impact and Benefits Agreement (IIBA) Manager. This is an indeterminate position.
Under the direction of the Director of the KIA Department of Lands, Environment and Resources, the IIBA Manager is responsible for the execution of the agreement and is to facilitate success in Inuit training, employment and business contracting for Major Development Projects and Article 26 IIBAs. Specifically, the IIBA Manager is to monitor, review, and track data on training, prepare evaluation reports, and to provide support to the Implementation Committee. Duty travel is frequently required.
The successful applicant will have either a University Degree in Management or Administration along with three (3) years of experience or a two-year college diploma with five (5) years of related experience. Fluency in Inuinnaqtun or Inuktitut is considered an asset. KIA encourages beneficiaries of the Nunavut Land Claim Agreement to apply. Equivalencies may be considered.
Salary Range $107,122 – $136,182. KIA has a comprehensive employee benefits package plus $26,464.66 Northern Allowance. Relocation assistance is available.
