KIA 2025 AGM Prep Meeting – Kugaaruk

Last Friday, in Kugaaruk, the KIA invited community members to attend an open house. The purpose of this meeting was to prepare for the upcoming KIA 2025 AGM by having community members share their concerns and priorities as well as to encourage individuals to learn more about the role and importance of the Elder, Youth and Women’s Committees. A programming update was also shared with all those who attended. Thank you to everyone who showed up,. Due to the overwhelming success of this event, the KIA is looking at doing similar events in other Kitikmeot communities.
