The KIA welcomes Stephanie Taptuna to our Social and Cultural Development team as an Administrative Assistant

January 2025 – Cambridge Bay, NU: The Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA) welcomes Stephanie Taptuna to the Cambridge Bay Social and Cultural Development (SCD) team as the new Administrative Assistant. Stephanie’s background and experience in the private and non-governmental organization sectors will strengthen the SCD team’s ability to support the well-being and cultural development of the Kitikmeot Inuit community.
Stephanie has previously worked for the Kitikmeot Corporation -100% owned by KIA. She brings a depth of knowledge and skills to the SCD team that will ensure efficient delivery of programming and all efforts to support individuals by alleviating financial barriers to getting back on their feet or moving forward with education or job training
