            Economic Development & Training

            The Kitikmeot Inuit Association (KIA) works to strengthen the Kitikmeot Region economically by providing economic development opportunities for organizations and resources for individuals to improve their skills and knowledge.

            Inuit Economic Empowerment

            KIA’s Economic Development and Training Department focuses primarily on promoting sustainable economic growth, job creation and community development in the Kitikmeot Region. Through practical initiatives and collaborative partnerships, we strive to create real opportunities for economic prosperity and community advancement. We also provide support to individuals by alleviating financial barriers to getting back on their feet or moving forward with education or job training.
